Bill Kitto Detailed Information
Bill Kitto is also a very skilled freediver/hunter.
Kitto worked as a machinist during his military duty then earned
a Ph.D. in mathmatics and is now head of the Software and Information
Sciences department of the Test Range that is the US Air Force Flight Test Center at
Edwards Air Force Base. He is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers
as well as a senior member of the American Society for Metals. He also makes computer
systems and is on the leading knowledge edge of current hardware and software capability.
Kitto experimented with beefy Delrin enclosed track
speargun designs and later speargun ballasting to reach the designs we
now use.
Kitto later developed our line of speartips, our heavy-duty smooth-operating
cast trigger mechanism, and our muzzle stablizers which make the
speargun muzzle more stable by increasing the second
moment of inertia and by moving the powerbands up in-line with the
